Sumbissions To The Catholic Letter Print E-mail

The Catholic Letter is open to submissions.  We do request that you only submit material that falls in line with Catholic teaching.

The Catholic Letter is not opposed to new thought, but we are a tradtional publication.  We follow the teachings of Vatican II, but see that perhaps it has caused some problems.  We like new traditions but we don't want to see the old ones die out.  We liked PJP II, but we like the fathers of the church just as much.

We're accepting any essays, short stories, or poetry that falls within the following categories:

Catholic News
Tips and Tricks On Living The Faith
Catholic Explanations
Catholics and History
Catholic Marriage And Family
General Catholic Insights
Comedy
Pre-Vatican II
Catholic Seasonal Subjects

Send your manuscripts or queries to submissions @ thecatholicletter.com

Make sure to put the word "submission" in the subject, otherwise it will go directly to junk mail.

Right now, we are not able to pay for accepted manuscrips.  We will, however, give you a byline and a link to your site/blog if you like.

We're looking for first time publishing rights in our online and e-mailed magazine.
