Written by Jason Engel

The Vatican City State has launched its own website. Not to be confused with the Holy See Website, which concentrates on news and Church related topics, the Vatican City State site offers much more information on the history and current government and legislation of the actual state.

Many of us will never have the opportunity to visit The Vatican City State in person; with the new website you can take a virtual tour!  With wonderful photographs and historical fact tidbits, it’s almost like being there.  Plus they have webcams for some of the most popular tourist attractions.   Since the site is so new, the webcams update slowly and sometimes the site locks up.  They will probably need a few weeks to adjust to the traffic.
